Planning Center integration

Planning Center, beside your attendance.

ChurchSight connects to Planning Center Services and Check-Ins, so the volunteers scheduled for each service and the children checked in sit next to that service's attendance — with source freshness always visible, instead of in another tab.

What comes in

Your ministry teams, in the same briefing

Attendance tells you how many came. Planning Center tells you who served and which children were checked in. ChurchSight puts them on one page for each service.

Planning Center Services

The volunteers scheduled for each service, by team and position, beside the volunteers who checked in and the share of the plan's needed positions that is confirmed.

Planning Center Check-Ins

Children's check-ins by service, event and location, kept separate from volunteer check-ins.

Source freshness

Every Planning Center figure shows how fresh its sync is, so a stale number never passes for today's.

Side by side

Two observers, never blended

A camera sees everyone who came into the room. Check-Ins sees the children someone checked in, and Services sees who was scheduled. ChurchSight shows each for what it is.

  • Never added togetherChildren's check-ins and camera attendance stay separate figures, each with its own source.
  • Differences you can seeWhere the camera and Planning Center both have a figure for a service, the difference between them is shown, not hidden.
  • Scheduled is not presentScheduled volunteers are shown as scheduled, beside the volunteers who actually checked in.
  • Labeled like everything elseEvery metric carries its source, freshness and data-quality status, the same as the camera headcount.

FAQ

Planning Center questions

Which Planning Center products does ChurchSight use?

Planning Center Services, for the volunteers scheduled for each service by team and position, and Planning Center Check-Ins, for children's check-ins by service, event and location. Both appear alongside attendance with source freshness always visible.

Are Planning Center check-ins added to our attendance count?

No. Camera attendance and Planning Center records are independent observers of the same service. ChurchSight shows each with its own source and freshness, and the difference between them when both have a figure, but never adds them together.

Who can connect Planning Center?

Only your church administrators can connect or disconnect Planning Center. Pastors see volunteer and children's ministry data as a summary, and ministry leaders see what is scoped to them.

What happens if we disconnect Planning Center?

Sync stops immediately, and a purge workflow is available to remove the Planning Center data ChurchSight holds.
